This is a downloadable pdf pattern and instruction booklet to make the wooden frame clutch bag like those in the photos. If you would like to make this you will need a wooden frame (which you can buy here )
 
You will receive a downloadable pattern which you will need to print at home, with a pdf instruction booklet with lots of photos and written in a very 'beginner friendly' way.  
 
I have been teaching this bag at workshops for a few years now and can honestly say it is suitable for beginners. The trickiest part is gluing the purse into the frame! The sewing part is quite straightforward and as long as you can use a sewing machine and know how to stitch a straight line and how to reverse stitch at the beginning and end of each line of stitches, you will be fine. You will learn how to box the corners of your bag, a great technique to know for giving all your purses and bags some depth. 
 
You will need to provide fabric, glue, thread, interlining and interfacing and a wooden frame.
 
Please take care to print the pattern at 100% on your printer, there is a scale box for you to check it has printed at the right size!
